Stuck climber plucked from Mount Nemo
An injured rock climber stranded on Mount Nemo was brought to safety today during a dramatic three-hour rescue.
The Toronto man, who says he’s an experienced climber and instructor, fell around six metres while climbing. He broke his ankle in the fall. After he was rescued he was taken to Joseph Brant Hospital. Burlington Fire, Halton Police and EMS and Conservation Halton were all on hand for the rescue.
