Visitors to Burlington’s waterfront Spencer Smith Park will see some improvements in the coming weeks.

The City of Burlington is making changes to a number of areas including work along the Lake Ontario seawall and on storm-sewer outfalls.

A pedestrian railing will also be replaced and sealing work is being carried out along the lower promenade.

The park will remain open during the work with security fencing up around the areas of construction.

The City says the work is being scheduled now to minimize disruptions during major park events.
