Senior found dead in Oakville home, cause of death unknown

A seventy-three-year old woman was found dead at a home in Oakville Saturday afternoon.

Emergency personnel on scene initially said that the woman was attacked by two large dogs in the basement of the residence on St. Augustine Drive. However, Halton Police told CHCH news Saturday evening that the cause of death has not yet been determined, but they now believe the dogs are not responsible and her death is not considered suspicious.
