Second suspect arrested in 2012 shooting

Hamilton Police have charged a Toronto man in connection with a shooting that happened two years ago.

In June 2012, a Hamilton man was shot in his Emerald Street apartment, but recovered from his injuries. Anthony Fitzroy Johnson, who was 20 at the time, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

Police have since been looking for a second suspect. Rashid Ali Adan, 23, of Toronto has been arrested and faces a number of charges, including attempted murder. He will appear in court later today.
