Salad recall in Canada and U.S.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling a popular brand of spinach.

Earthbound Farm Baby Spinach Grab and Go salad kits with peanuts are being recalled due to possible salmonella contamination.

It’s linked to the recall of peanuts and peanut products in the U.S.

The salad was distributed in Ontario and B.C.

No illnesses have been reported in Canada, but several peanut-related illnesses have been reported in the U.S. due to salmonella contamination.
