Rob Reiner’s son Nick will be charged with 2 counts of murder in parents’ deaths

Prosecutors in Los Angeles are now at a critical stage in the case against Nick Reiner, the son of Hollywood filmmaker Rob Reiner and producer Michele Singer Reiner, who were both found dead in their home on Sunday.

Nick was taken into police custody following the crime and is being held on a $4 million bond. Today, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced two counts of first-degree murder against him.

The announcement of these charges starts the clock toward a preliminary hearing, which is expected to happen within two weeks.
