Pride Hamilton kicks off family-friendly celebrations at Pier 4 Park

Pride Hamilton at Pier 4 park began Friday and this year’s theme is reclamation, unity, and healing.

Celebrations began Friday and they will last until 11:30pm.

Most of the events are taking place right at Pier 4 but there is also a drag brunch taking place at Hamilton stadium on Sunday.

At Pier 4 there are local vendors, live performances and music, food trucks, community booths, a kids and family area.

Pride Hamilton says the next three days are a joyful, inclusive, and family-friendly celebration that welcomes people of all ages.

Pride Hamilton says you can show up as your authentic self, whether that means glitter, leather, rainbows, or all of the above!

Over 10 thousand people are expected to take part in pride Hamilton.
