Popularity of Toronto Mayor wanes

A new poll shows Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s cuts aren’t going over well.

A forum phone survey of nearly 13,000 people shows more than three-quarters of people living in Toronto want their local Councillor to protect services rather than go along with the Mayor.

The survey was paid for by CUPE local 79, one of two major unions at Toronto City Hall.

They also say just three in ten people asked in Toronto say they’d vote for Ford if an election was held tomorrow.
