Ontario Provincial Police are appealing to the public in identifying an arson suspect.
Norfolk County officers say they responded to a suspected arson at about 8:29 a.m. on Dec. 8 at a residence on Kent Street South in Simcoe.
Detectives say at 8:24 a.m., an unidentified individual is described as wearing a black jacket, grey pants, brown boots, and a dark face covering, applied an accelerant to the entryway of the building and ignited it.
They say the fire caused minor damage and no injuries were reported.
Police are asking anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
