Niagara police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man and his vehicle as he is alleged to have approached a person and made unwanted advances in Welland Saturday morning.
Officers say that at around 2:30 a.m., in the area of Ontario and Plymouth roads, a man in a white 4-door sedan approached a person and made several propositions toward them which they declined.
The man is described by investigators as a brown man, between 40 and 50 years old, with dark hair and a beard.
Authorities are asking residents and businesses in the area to review their surveillance video from between 1:30 and 3 a.m. and to contact police if they believe to have captured video of the man.
