Police investigate shooting on Hamilton west Mountain

Police are asking for help from the public as they continue their investigation into a shooting that happened Thursday morning on Hamilton’s west Mountain.

Officers say they can confirm that a shooting occurred shortly before 1 a.m. in the area of Upper Paradise Rd. and Stone Church Rd. West.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the shooting, but residents in the area are asked to review their security surveillance camera footage.

Detectives are also asking drivers in the area between the hours of 12 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. to review their dash camera footage for any suspicious activity.
