Police close portion of Niagara Stone Road for collision investigation

Niagara police have closed a portion of Niagara Stone Road Monday as part of a collision investigation and are warning drivers to avoid the area.

Investigators say two vehicles, with one occupant in each, were involved in the crash.

Officers posted on X just after 10:12 a.m. that the road between Airport and Concession 7 roads will be closed.

Officers told CHCH News that it is too early in the investigation to know the cause of the accident.

They say they are not able release any details regarding injuries at this time.

Police say the road is expected to remain closed for several hours.
