Police arrest 20-year-old man in connection to Coolers Bar shooting in Hamilton

Hamilton police have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection to a shooting that took place outside Coolers Bar near Upper Gage and Fennell Avenue in September 2024.
The shooting left one person injured and caused damage to several nearby businesses.
Detectives say they launched an extensive investigation following the shooting and were able to identify Connor Duncan, 20, of Hamilton in connection with the shooting.
His arrest was also connected to a separate investigation related to drug trafficking.
On May 23, police executed a search warrant at a home on the Hamilton Mountain where they discovered a large sum of Canadian money, a 9mm Glock handgun, 272 grams of cocaine, 53 grams of fentanyl and several oxycodone pills.
Duncan was arrested following the search, alongside Kandice Kuhn, 34, also of Hamilton.
Kuhn is facing two drug-related charges, while Duncan has been charged with seven offences related to both the drugs and the shooting.
