Part of West Street closed in Brantford following vehicle crash into Hydro pole

Brantford police have closed part of West Street in both directions between Edmondson Street and Morton Avenue following a crash.
Officers say a vehicle hit a hydro pole at around 10:15 a.m., bringing it down along with live wires in the area.
They confirmed that the driver suffered no injuries, but was transported to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Hydro crews are on the scene, but they say repairs are expected to take several hours.
Officers posted on X at around 11:42 a.m. warning drivers to avoid the area and to take alternate routes.
