OPP charge 3 after seizing cocaine during traffic stop in Hagersville

Ontario Provincial Police have charged three people after seizing cocaine during a traffic stop in Hagersville last week.

Officers say they pulled over a vehicle on Indian Line Road around 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 2.

Police then arrested three people and recovered cocaine, Canadian cash and drug-related items.

Lee Dicesare, 41, of Brant County has been charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Officers have also charged Danie Josefowicz, 41, of Haldimand County with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.

James McCarthy, 34, of Haldimand County is facing one count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine as well.

Police say all three people are scheduled to appear in a Cayuga court on Dec. 5.
