Ontario reported 1,546 cases of COVID-19 and nine deaths on Tuesday.
The results come as the province completed 32,556 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were done, is 5.7 per cent.
Another 1,271 cases have been marked as resolved.
The province says it administered 50,659 vaccine doses on Monday. A total of 1,603,699 doses have been administered in Ontario.
There are 301,043 people in the province who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Ontario is reporting 1,546 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 32,600 tests completed. Locally, there are 465 new cases in Toronto, 329 in Peel and 161 in York Region.
As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 1,603,699 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

Niagara
There are now 1,359 confirmed cases of the B.1.1.7 lineage of the virus, which was first reported in the U.K.
Confirmed cases of the B.1.351 strain, first reported in South Africa, are at 47.
There are 37 confirmed cases of the P.1 strain first reported in Brazil.
The number of patients in hospital has increased to 868. There are 324 people in intensive care and 193 of them are on ventilators.
The death toll is now 7,253 people. Nearly 54 per cent of those deaths have been in residents of long-term care.
The province is also reporting another 409 cases of the virus in schools. Tuesday’s school case number is often higher that other days because it includes weekend data.
