Ontario COVID-19 case update

The province released its daily update on cases that brought the total to over a thousand in Ontario this afternoon.

There were 151 new cases today.

The total sits at 1,144.

There have been 18 deaths in Ontario, including one in Hamilton, one in Halton and one in Niagara.

8 cases have fully resolved. again, 8 have recovered.

Ontario public health says over 8,000 investigations into the virus are still pending, which is down from the more-than 10,000 pending cases yesterday.
