Oakville sexual assaults

Halton Police are investigating two sexual assaults in Oakville that may be related due to their proximity to each other.

The first one happened overnight on July 16th. A 27-year old woman was walking through the Morrison Valley Ravine when a man approached her from behind, attempted to engage her in conversation, before touching her inappropriately.

The second incident happened on the morning of August 23rd. A 21-year-old woman was walking the trails behind Sheridan College when she was approached from behind and touched inappropriately.

In the first case, the suspect is described as:

• light skinned
• 20-23 years of age
• 5’8″
• had short dark brown or black hair
• slim build.
• was wearing a long-sleeved dark shirt and pants with a dark baseball hat

In the second case, the suspect is described as:

• white 
• 25-30 years of age
• 5-foot-4
• had blond hair
• average build
• he was wearing a dark blue plaid jacket, hoodie and sunglasses
