No serious injuries after car plows into mental health clinic in Burlington

No serious injuries are being reported after a car plowed into a mental health clinic in Burlington this morning trapping three people.
A witness told CHCH the vehicle — reportedly driven by a senior woman — drove through a handicap parking spot and collided into the storefront of the Canoe Therapy Clinic on Fairview Street around 10 a.m.
“There were some people initially trapped as a result of the collision, however everyone has been freed,” Halton Police say.
Two of the individuals were in the car and one was in the clinic office.
Police say there do not appear to be any serious injuries as a result of the crash.
The cause is under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
A city building inspector was requested to assess the scene.
