Niagara police make arrest in connection with gas station robbery in Grimsby

Niagara police have made a second arrest of a man in connection with an armed robbery in Grimsby.
On Aug. 1, at around 4:37 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a Petro Canada gas station at 424 South Service Road between Industrial Drive and Casablanca Boulevard.
Police say three men entered the gas station and confronted the employee demanding cash. Two of the suspects were armed, one with a pistol and the other with bear spray.
The suspects stole cash and cigarettes. Police say the employee feared for their life and attempted to run from the store. Then the suspect armed with the pistol fired a shot at the employee. The shot missed and struck a wall. The employee was not physically injured.
Earlier this month, Rebecca Collingwood, 26, of Hamilton was charged in the case with one count of robbery involving a firearm.
On August 19th, 24-year-old Marcus Roy of Hamilton was located in the area of Barton Street and Centennial Parkway. He was arrested and is facing charges of robbery, disguise with intent, discharge firearm with intent to wound, endanger life or prevent arrest, possession of a firearm, weapon, or ammunition contrary to probation order and fail to comply with probation order.
Detectives continue to appeal to members of the public for assistance identifying suspects labelled #2 and suspect #3 in the photo.
