Two people are in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Beamsville, Ont., Sunday evening.

It happened shortly after 8 p.m. in the area of North Service and Bartlett roads.

Niagara police say a white 2022 Hyundai Tucson and another unidentified vehicle were driving westbound on North Service Road when the 22-year-old male driver of the Tucson collided with an oncoming black 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The 41-year-old man driving the motorcycle and his 46-year-old female passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and were taken to an out-of-region hospital.

Niagara police’s collision reconstruction and forensic services unit are now investigating.

Officers are appealing to the driver of the other vehicle, as well as any witnesses or nearby residents with surveillance or dashcam video to come forward.
