More Skyway Bridge, QEW Niagara-bound closures announced for weekend

Niagara-bound traffic on the QEW will be impacted from Thursday evening to Monday morning with lane closures due to ongoing Ministry of Transportation bridge work.

The closures will take place from Thursday night to Friday morning and over the weekend.

Two left lanes in the Niagara-bound direction will be closed on Sept. 11 from 10 p.m. to Sept. 12 at 6 a.m.

In addition, two left lanes in the Niagara-bound direction will be closed from Sept. 12 at 10 p.m. to Sept. 15 at 5 a.m.

All lane closures are subject to change and are weather dependent.

The Skyway construction is expected to be finished in December of this year.
