Man dies in hit-and-run

An early morning hit-and-run in Scarborough has left one man dead.

It happened on Kennedy Road near Eglinton Avenue at around 1:00 this morning. The suspect allegedly robbed a taxi driver before the accident, and was fleeing in his pickup truck when the victim was struck. Police say he was crossing the street.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the robbery and hit-and-run.
