Kitten ‘lucky to be alive’ after being thrown out car window in Burlington

Ontario Provincial Police say a kitten is recovering after being thrown from a car window on Highway 403 last week.

Officers say it happened on the highway near Waterdown on Friday morning.

Const. Tamara Beckers says the young cat’s leg had to be amputated and that an infection in her left eye is looking better.

Beckers says the kitten is lucky to be alive.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Burlington OPP are asking witnesses who were on the highway between 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Friday to contact them at 905-681-2511.
