A section of Ontario’s worst road is getting a facelift starting today.

Temporary lane closures will be in place on Aberdeen Avenue in Hamilton for the next few weeks. The closures are expected to stretch from Longwood Road to Dundurn Street, and will be in place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

According to the City of Hamilton, it’s to allow for asphalt milling and repaving the road that’s topped CAA’s worst roads list for the past two years.

City officials expect the work to be finished by Aug. 1.
