Hamilton teen facing multiple charges following summer crash

A 17-year-old boy from Hamilton is facing multiple driving offences after a months-long investigation into a car crash that injured many involved.
Hamilton police say the charges stem from a car crash which happened on the afternoon of Aug. 26, at Valens Road and Concession 5 West in Flamborough.
The young male was charged on Oct. 13 and faces five counts of Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm, Stunt Driving, Speeding (142 km/hr in a 70 km/hr zone), two counts of Disobey Stop Sign, and two counts of Drive While Passenger Under 16 Fails to Occupy Position with Seat Belt.

The 17-year-old was the driver of the Kia minivan.
All six occupants of the Kia were taken to local hospitals for treatment, with one girl still recovering from life-threatening injuries.
The man who drove the Volvo suffered minor injuries.
