Hamilton Public Health investigating exposures from confirmed measles case

Hamilton Public Health Services are investigating the exposures locally related to a case of measles from a non-Hamilton resident.
The health agency is notifying and following up with people who may have been exposed to the virus.
Staff say potential exposure sites and time-frames can include:

First Ontario Centre Concert Hall at 1 Summers Lane in Hamilton, on May 3, from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.
Public health strongly recommends keeping vaccinations and records up-to-date.
Residents are asked to watch for measles symptoms for 21 days after exposure, even if you’re vaccinated.
Infants under one year of age, people who are pregnant, and those with weakened immune systems are at an increased risk of complications.
