Hamilton police investigating after cyclist struck on Garth Street

Hamilton police say they’re conducting an investigation after a cyclist was struck by a car on Garth Street at the Lincoln Alexander Parkway Overpass.
The crash took place on Sept. 16 during the evening. By 8:00 p.m. police announced on X that Garth Street was closed in both directions.
The road was reopened in both directions by 3:35 a.m. the next morning.
No word yet from police about the nature or severity of the cyclist’s injuries.
Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or captured it on a dash cam to get in touch.
