Police have asked the public to avoid a neighbourhood in the east Hamilton Mountain area due to an “investigation.”

Hamilton police posted on social media around 12:30 p.m. Friday to expect a “heavy police presence” near Candlewood Drive.

The authorities have confirmed with CHCH News that they are “searching for a person that is wanted.”
