Hamilton police ask for public’s help finding missing 62-year-old man

Hamilton police are looking for 62-year-old John Edwards who was last seen noon Wednesday in the area of Governor’s Road and Ogilvie Street in Dundas.

Officers say Edwards is known to enjoy walks through local trails and parks in Dundas, and is familiar with the area.

They say it is unusual for him to not to return home.

Police are asking residents, business owners, and staff at local coffee shops and fast food locations to keep an eye out for him.

Investigators describe Edwards as a five-foot-11 tall white man, with a medium to heavy build and weighing over 200 lbs.

They say he has shoulder-length brown hair, light-coloured eyes and is possibly wearing baggy shorts, a striped blue T-shirt, white socks, running shoes, and possibly a baseball-style hat.
