Hamilton man wanted for alleged connection to armed robberies in the city

Hamilton police are looking for the public’s help in locating a man who is wanted for his alleged relation to a series of armed robberies across the city.
The accused is 19-year-old Marshall Murphy.
He is described as white with a heavy build with several tattoos.
Murphy has a rose on his left hand, a cross on his right hand, the words “smile now, cry later” with skulls and clown faces on his right forearm and the Roman numerals “MCMLV-MMXXI” on his left forearm.
The wanted man has been charged for the armed robbery of a central Hamilton cannabis store on June 15, 2025.

Police allege Murphy is responsible for the robbery of a Hamilton Mountain cannabis store on May 5, 2025 and the armed robbery of a gas station in Stoney Creek on March 4, 2024.
Officers say they have not recovered the firearm used in one of the robberies and advise anyone who might see Murphy to not approach him but to instead call 911 immediately.
