Hamilton man arrested after drug trafficking investigation

Hamilton police say they’ve arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Following the arrest, search warrants were executed at two homes — one in the area of Gage Avenue North and Barton Street East, and the other near Main Street East and Spring Street.
Police say that as a result of the searches, they seized the following:
- A loaded 9mm handgun
- Approximately 24 grams of cocaine
- Approximately 680 grams of fentanyl
- Approximately 19 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- Hundreds of hydromorphone pills
- Over $7,000 in Canadian currency
Jesse Schnarr, 33, of Hamilton is facing five criminal charges.
