Hamilton man arrested in Mississauga after cocaine, firearm seized during traffic stop

Peel police have arrested a man from Hamilton and a woman from Bowmanville after cocaine and a firearm were seized from their vehicle during a routine traffic stop.

Officers say they were conducting stops in the area near Princess Royal Drive and Living Arts Drive in Mississauga. While searching a vehicle, they discovered a Glock .40-calibre handgun and a quantity of drugs.

Daniel Foster, 29, of Hamilton, and Nakayla Mcnish, 29, of Bowmanville have been arrested and are facing a total of eleven charges.

Foster is facing additional charges related to failure to comply with a release order.
