Halton police are asking for the public’s assistance locating a 16-year-old boy from Oakville.

Officers say Eashwaran Kurup was last seen on foot around 9:54 a.m. on Jan. 22 in the area of Oak Park Boulevard and Taunton Road in Oakville.

Kurup is described as a six-foot tall East Indian male, weighing 188 lbs with a muscular build and straight dark hair worn in a mullet style.

He was last seen wearing a blue Toronto Maple Leafs beanie, blue plaid jacket, blue hoodie, brown boots and a black backpack.

Anyone with information regarding Kurup’s whereabouts is asked to contact police via their non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
