Halton police search for man wanted in Friday night Georgetown sexual assault

Halton police are looking for a man after an alleged sexual assault in Georgetown on Friday night.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. near Dominion Gardens Park.

Police say a group of young people were walking when a man they didn’t know approached them and sexually assaulted a girl in the group.

Investigators are looking for a South Asian man in his twenties, 5’6″ to 5’9″, with a thin build, black hair and a thick beard.

He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and white shoes.
