Halton police investigate after boy hit by vehicle in Milton

Halton police are investigating after a boy was reported to have been hit by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in the Town of Milton.

Officers told CHCH News that at around 3:10 p.m. a boy between the age of 12 and 15 years old was hit by a vehicle in the area of Thompson and Derry Roads.

Investigators say the boy was injured but they do not appear to be serious.

They say the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.

Police have not said if they have issued any charges yet.

The roads were not closed as part of the investigation.
