Halton police charge two people after Mapleview mall robbery

Halton police have arrested two teenagers from Hamilton Saturday connected to a robbery at the Mapleview Shopping Centre in Burlington.
Officers say at around 6 p.m. on May 2, a group of male suspects had entered a Nike store in the mall and allegedly stole a number of clothing items and fled.
They say the suspects were chased by mall security before getting into a car in the parking lot.
Detectives say one of the suspects used bear spray on a security officer before escaping.
The security officer was taken to hospital for minor injuries.
Investigators say the getaway vehicle was stolen out of Hamilton.
Officers arrested 19-year-old Tyson Larsh and a 17-year-old boy and have charged each with one count of robbery.
Police say they are still investigating and working to identify four other outstanding suspects involved in the crime.
