Halton police have charged a 69-year-old man of Oakville Saturday, as part of an investigation of sexual assault in Oakville.
Police say Robert Lapier was working as an archery instructor at Silver Sword Armories at Burnhamthorpe Road East.
Detectives say Lapier allegedly assaulted a girl who was receiving lessons at the facility.
Lapier was held in custody pending a bail hearing at a Milton courthouse.
Investigators say there may be additional victims, and are asking anyone with information to reach out to the Halton Regional Police Service Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970.
