Halton Hills man arrested following indecent act in Georgetown

Halton police have arrested one man following an indecent act committed in Georgetown, and believe there may be more victims.

Sunday at 7:40 p.m., a woman was sitting on a bench in the Hungry Hollow trail system in the area of Credit River and Mountainview Road South

A man approached the woman from behind and engaged in the indecent act.

The woman fled and contacted the police who were able to locate and arrest the man.

Thirty-six-year-old James McHale of Halton Hills was charged with Indecent Act and Disobey Court Order.

Investigators believe McHale may have committed other similar acts and there may be more victims.
