Gore Park finally gets its tree

The annual Christmas tree has been set up at Hamilton’s Gore Park.

Hamilton’s public works department searched for the perfect tree to be the centerpiece of the park’s festive decorations.

The search started in the summer but all of the trees submitted until recently were either the wrong size or had too many overhead wires as a barrier.

The Colorado blue spruce, that was found last week, is over 12 metres tall.
