Fort Erie fire

An investigator with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is checking into a suspicious fire in Fort Erie.

There were reports of an explosion at the back of a commercial building at 80 Jarvis Street.

Fire officials were called Sunday in the late afternoon.

The building was unoccupied, and undergoing renovations.

The fire caused about $200,000 in damage.
