Food delivery for those in need

People wondering where their next meal may come from in downtown Hamilton didn’t need to look far this afternoon. A group of about 20 McMaster students spent the day delivering free pizza to those in need. The students belong to an aid organization called Humanity First.

“A lot of times people think to help others you need to travel to other countries or do mission work but we forget that there are people in our local area that also need help.”

In total, McMaster students handed out more than 2000 slices. Some to those they met on the street, the rest at local homeless shelters. The students say they get just as much out of it as they give.
