The Catch The Ace jackpot hit the $800,000 mark just before 8 a.m. Wednesday. It grew by $15,000 dollars just Wednesday morning alone.
The goal is to catch the ace but even if you don’t, you’ll still walk home with the weekly cash prize of $52,000. That was the case for Kate-lynn last week from Binbrook, Ont. who won $63,000.
The Legion says the community came out in full force and it’s even caught the attention from people province-wide.
Weekly ticket sales are divided three ways – 20 per cent goes to the guaranteed weekly cash prize, 30 per cent goes to the progressive jackpot and half goes to charity.

Last week, nearly $70,000 went straight to support local organizations and the Legion is hoping for the same kind of turnout.
People can buy tickets online or in person and pick which numbered envelope you think the ace of spades is in.
If your name is drawn Wednesday night and the ace of spades is in that envelope, you take home the massive jackpot but if not, you still get the weekly cash prize.
The ace of spades is still hiding in one of the 21 envelopes and it’s been sitting there, untouched, for the last seven months.

It’s going to be a busy night tonight so come early if you want to be here in person. If you can’t make it, you can catch the live stream on Facebook starting at 8 p.m.
Since the Dundas Legion started doing the Catch The Ace jackpot in August 2023, they’ve raised $1.3 million for local charities.
