City of Hamilton using AI to reduce planning approval times

The City of Hamilton is using AI to speed up its planning approvals process.

The city is working on two pilot projects that they say will cut the length of the approvals process in half.

At the same announcement Thursday, the mayor was also asked about a new report from a transparency task force that shows a whopping 80 per cent of Hamiltonians don’t trust city hall.

The mayor saying she’s going to work with city staff to start making changes.
