Carney calls for ‘political unity’ as Liberal Party convention concludes

VIDEO: Prime Minister Mark Carney called for “political unity” as the Liberal Party of Canada concluded their national convention Saturday in Montreal. Carney’s speech centered around national threats which included the rapidly changing political environment and the giant leaps in the tech world. Carney is scheduled to meet with Finland’s president this week in Ottawa, where they will work to deepen trade and defence ties, including for critical minerals, artificial intelligence and quantum industries.
