Reconciliation was a major theme of the throne speech in Ottawa, delivered by Canada’s first indigenous Governor General. The speech is intended to outline Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s agenda going forward and recapped a number of campaign promises to re-build as the country emerges from the pandemic.
