Burlington North-Milton West MP calls Liberal budget an infrastructure investment
CHCH News anchor Matt Ingram spoke with the Liberal MP for Burlington North-Milton West and Secretary for Sport Adam van Koeverden to ask questions regarding the new 2025 Liberal budget.
Ingram asked if the budget has set aside enough money to meet the needs of his constituents in Burlington and Milton, despite some critics saying it doesn’t have enough to effectively support Ontario’s aging infrastructure.
Van Koeverden explains how the budget is an “investment” rather than just a “spending” budget, which he says will see new infrastructure develop in the long term.
He said that Canadians can rest assured in Prime Minister Mark Carney’s strong economic background and how well he understands how governments work.
