The City of Burlington’s Festival of Lights kicks off tonight until early January at Spencer Smith Park as it celebrates 30 years.

The winter wonderland — complete with 60 glowing displays — will be open daily from 4 p.m. until midnight until Jan. 6. Pets on leashes are allowed in the area.

Various pop-up events will be held over the coming weeks, from ice sculpting demos to line dancing and a seniors’ tea.

The festival is organized by volunteers, with support from local businesses and organizations.
