Brant OPP investigating jewelry theft, break-in on Old Onondaga Townline Road

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they’re searching for one person following a break-in at a home in Brant that happened on Thursday.

Officers say that sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Thursday, one person broke into a home on Old Onondaga Townline Road and stole two wooden jewelry boxes that contained costume and fine jewelry. The items are valued between $500 – $1,000.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair, a beard, and visible tattoos on his arms. He was last seen wearing dark shorts and a matching sleeveless top with a colourful pattern and white trim, along with white sneakers.
