Body of missing boater found near Bronte Harbour

Halton police say the body of a boater who went missing on Thursday has been found.

80-year-old Robert Wyles went missing on August 26th. A police investigation revealed that he bought a boat earlier in the day and was last seen leaving Bronte Harbour around 12:30 p.m.

His body was discovered Tuesday morning after a boater in the area of Bronte Harbour in Oakville notified police of a deceased person in the water.
